Corporate Environmental Policy
It is the policy of Varland Metal Service, Inc. to conduct business without harm to its customers, the environment, or the public and in a manner which provides safe and healthful conditions for its employees. This policy requires:

Adherence to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations;

Adherence to corporate requirements and policies related to safety, health, and the environment; and

Implementation of any hazardous waste minimization method deemed feasible by conscientious annual assessments and evaluations.
In 1993, Varland Metal Service, Inc. began the 100% recycling of treated chemical waste. All treated chemical waste is shipped to a processor for recovery and recycling. Because of this policy, none of Varland Metal Service’s waste is sent to landfills.
