This route is recommended for passenger cars only.

Directions from I-74 East (coming from West of Cincinnati):

1. Follow East I-74 to South I-75 (which heads towards downtown Cincinnati).
2. Take the first exit to the right (Hopple St.—Exit #3).
3. Stay to the left on the exit ramp and turn left at the light.
4. After turning left you will cross over I-75 and come to a large intersection. Proceed through the intersection (which will bear slightly to the left). Do not turn left.
5. After corssing the intersection, you will be on Martin Luther King Dr. You will stay on Martin Luther King for about 2.2 miles before turning.
6. After corssing Clifton Ave. (about 0.9 miles), Martin Luther King does ast the University of Cincinnati’s Main Campus (on the right).
7. After passing the university, you will pass the hospital district (on your left).
8. Look for a McDonald's restaurant on your right. Turn right at the second light past McDonald's. This will be Reading Rd.
9. After turning right on Reading Rd., get into the center lane, go about 0.1 miles, and turn left at the first light on Lincoln Ave. There is a KFC on the near right corner of this intersection.
10. After turning, go about 0.3 miles and turn left at the first light onto Stanton Avenue. Stanton Ave. will cross over I-71 and become Fredonia Avenue.
11. After turning onto Stanton/Fredonia, go about 0.4 miles to Varland Metal Service, Inc. The plant is on the left immediately after crossing over I-71 (at the NW corner of Fredonia Ave. and Whittier St.).
    • Shipping/Receiving Docks (for deliveries/pickups) face Fredonia.
    • Office visitors should drive past the building and then turn left into our gated parking lot.
