Oil Dipping

Oil dips are used for a variety of purposes and come in a variety of formulations. Typical uses for oil dipping include rust prevention (on raw steel parts) or to increase lubricity on plated parts.

Varland Metal Service offers several types of oil dip processes. Both water-based and solvent-based oils are available. When oil dipping is required, it is usually the final step that follows a cleaning and/or plating process.
