Our shipping and receiving services and capabilities provide flexible options geared toward providing comprehensive solutions for our customers. Our experienced and knowledgeable staff is capable of handling all of your logistical needs.

Our Shipping and Receiving Department offers around-the-clock service during the work week giving us the capability of receiving and/or shipping parts 24 hours per day.

There are a variety of options for getting parts to and from our facility:

Commercial Carrier
Most parts are typically received and shipped via commercial carrier. Our modern shipping facility has four automatic docks that are conveniently located on Fredonia Ave. and offer easy access for tractor trailers and straight trucks.
Package Delivery Services
Smaller orders can be received and shipped using package delivery services such as UPS, FedEx, etc.
Varland Local Trucking Service
Trucking service is an available option for local customers. We can handle the pickup and delivery of your parts so you don’t have to. Trucking questions should be directed to the Sales Department.
Drop Shipments
Drop shipping of customer parts is offered at no additional charge.

Packaging & Labeling

Varland has the capability to package and/or label finished product (plated parts) to your specifications and requirements.

Packaging
We can package (or re-package) finished parts into customer-supplied containers (boxes, totes, etc.) if necessary. This may be a desired option if raw parts are received in containers inappropriate for plated product. This option may also be preferred if parts are to be drop-shipped to a third party.
Bar-code Labeling
We have the ability to generate bar-code labels that may be required for part or order identification. These labels can be applied to shipping containers prior to shipment. Quite often, labeling of containers is done as part of the plating process. We can also apply customer-supplied labels to containers.
